The Fifth Element บอกเล่าเรื่องราวในปี 2263 เมื่อโลกถูกคุกคามโดยภัยจากห้วงอวกาศ และมีเพียงอาวุธจากหินศักดิ์สิทธิ์ทั้ง 4 ธาตุ และธาตุที่ 5 ในร่างของมนุษย์เท่านั้นที่จะช่วยโลกได้ ลุคได้เขียนบทภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ตั้งแต่อายุ 16 ก่อนได้ทำตามความฝันและลงมือถ่ายทำหนังเรื่องนี้จริง ๆ เมื่อเขาอายุ 38 ปี โดยภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ยังได้นักแสดงเจ้าบทบาทในยุคนั้ นอย่าง บรูซ วิลลิส (Bruce Willis) นักแสดงหนังบู๊จาก Die Hard ในบท คอร์เบน อดีตนายทหารที่ผันมาขับแท็กซี่ และแกรี่ โอลด์แมน (Gary Oldman) นักแสดงผู้รับบทซีเรียส แบล็กใน Harry Potter และผู้การเจมส์ กอร์ดอนจากแฟรนไชส์ Batman ของผู้กำกับคริสโตเฟอร์ โนแลน (Christopher Nolan) มารับบท วายร้ายซอร์ก รวมไปถึงยังเป็นหนังแจ้งเกิดให้กับ มิลล่า โจโววิช (Milla Jovovich) ว่าที่อลิซ มือปราบซอมบี้จาก Resident Evil ในบท ลีลู สาวน้อยจากต่างดาว อีกด้วย
