เรื่องราวสนุกขบขันของกลุ่มบริกร ซึ่งไม่มีความมั่นใจในตัวเอง ทำอะไรไม่เคยสำเร็จ, ลูกค้าที่ขี้เหนียวที่จะให้ทิป และอาหารที่เป็นพิษ!

หลังจากเป็นเด็กเสิร์ฟมาตลอด 4 ปีนับจากจากเรียนจบไฮสกูล ดีน (จัสติน ลอง) ไม่เคยพบคำตอบของชีวิต จากการทำงานที่ร้านเชอนานิแกนซ์เลย จนกระทั่งเขาได้เรียนรู้เมื่อ เช็ทท์ (ทราวิส เรซอร์) เพื่อนร่วมชั้นสมัยเรียนมัธยม ได้รายได้งดงามจากการทำงานเป็นวิศวกรไฟฟ้า ในขณะที่ดีนก็เกิดความยุ่งยาก และชีวิตของเขามาถึงทางตัน เพื่อนของดีนชื่อ มอนตี้ (ไรอัน เรย์โนลด์ส) ก็ตกอยู่ในสภาพเดียวกันกับดีน คือเป็นพนักงานเสิร์ฟและมีชีวิตที่น่าเบื่อ แต่เขาไม่อยู่นิ่งเฉย เขาชอบไปงานปาร์ตี้ และหลับนอนกับหญิงสาวหลายๆ คนที่ยังเป็นผู้เยาว์ มอนตี้ได้รับหน้าที่เทรนงานให้กับพนักงานใหม่ที่ขี้อ ายชื่อ มิทช์ (จอห์น ฟรานซิส เดลี่ย์) ในบรรดากะงานที่วุ่นวายนี้ มิทช์ได้ล่วงรู้ถึงความแปลกของพฤติกรรมพนักงานร้านเช อนานิแกนซ์ ที่ต่างๆ กันไป เช่น แฟนเก่าของมอนตี้ ที่เป็นคนพูดจาหยาบคายอย่าง เซเรน่า (แอนนา ฟาริส), แดน (เดวิด โคเอชเนอร์) ผู้จัดการร้านเชอนานิแกนซ์ ซึ่งเป็นคนบ้างานจนเกินเหตุ และ แรดดิมัส (หลุยส์ กัซแมน) หัวหน้ากุ๊กผู้หมกมุ่นอยุ่แต่กับการแข่งขันบ้าๆ บอๆ ของพนักงานที่เรียกว่า "เดอะ เกม"...
