เรื่องย่อ
เรื่องราวเกิดขึ้นในตอนใต้ของอเมริกา 2 ปีก่อนสงครามกลางเมือง ทาสชื่อ จังโก้ (เจมี่ ฟ็อกซ์) ผู้มีอดีตอันเลวร้ายกับเจ้านายคนก่อน ได้พบกับนักล่าค่าหัวผู้ที่เกิดในเยอรมันนามว่า ดร.คิง ชูลซ์ (คริสตอฟ วอลท์ซ) ซึ่ง ชูลซ์ นั้นต้องขอความช่วยเหลือจาก จังโก้ เพื่อตามล่า พี่น้องบริตเตอร์ ผู้เหี้ยมโหด และสัญญาจะแบ่งค่าหัวให้กับ จังโก้ ไม่ว่าจะจับ พี่น้องบริตเตอร์ ได้เป็นหรือจับตาย

หลังจากที่ทั้งสองทำภารกิจนั้นสำเร็จ ชุลซ์จึงช่วยให้ จังโก้ เป็นไท ชูลซ์ เองก็ไม่ได้แยกจากไป แต่ตัดสินใจจะช่วย จังโก้ ทำภารกิจใหม่ คือการตามหา บรูมฮิลดา (เคอร์รี่ วอชิงตัน) ภรรยาของ จังโก้ ที่หายไปตั้งแต่มีการซื้อขายทาสนานมาแล้ว ซึ่งภายหลัง จังโก้ และ ดร.ชูลซ์ พบว่าภรรยาของได้ตกเป็นทาสของ เคลวิน แคนดี้ (ลีโอนาร์โด ดิคาปริโอ) เจ้าของไร่ แคนดี้แลนด์ ที่โด่งดังเรื่องความเหี้ยมโหด ซาดิสม์ ชอบจับให้ทาสต่อสู้กันเพื่อความสนุก ทั้งสองจะทำอย่างไรเมื่อพวกเขาพบว่าการจะพาภรรยาของเ ขาออกไปจากที่นี่ มีเพียงหนทางเดียวที่อาจจะชี้ความเป็นความตายของพวกเ ขา
