เรื่องย่อ
เรื่องราวเริ่มต้นขึ้นในอนาคต (ปี 2029) เมืองลอสแอนเจลิสที่เต็มไปด้วยอาชญากรรม จนมีการนำระบบยุติธรรมแบบใหม่ที่เรียกว่า “Mercy Court” มาใช้ โดยระบบนี้จะใช้ AI เป็นผู้พิพากษา “คริส เรเว่น” นักสืบ LAPD (รับบทโดย “คริส แพรตต์”) เขาสนับสนุนระบบนี้อย่างเต็มตัว แต่จู่ ๆ เขากลับตื่นขึ้นมาในสภาพถูกมัดติดกับเก้าอี้ไฟฟ้า ทั้งยังถูกกล่าวหาว่าเป็นฆาตกรสังหารภรรยาตัวเอง เขาต้องเผชิญหน้ากับ “ผู้พิพากษา Maddox” (รับบทโดย รีเบกกา เฟอร์กูสัน) และมีเวลาเพียง 90 นาที ในการพิสูจน์ความบริสุทธิ์ของตนเอง ผ่านข้อมูลดิจิทัลทั้งหมดที่มี มิเช่นนั้นหากหมดเวลา เขาจะถูกประหารชีวิตทันที...
