เรื่องย่อ - Animal Kingdom โจชัว คือเด็กหนุ่มธรรมดาๆคนหนึ่งที่ต้องย้ายไปอยู่บ้านญาต ิหลังจากที่แม่ตัวเองตายเพราะเสพยาเกินขนาด และจะโดนญาติตัวเองเก็บเอาเมื่อไหร่ก็ได้ เพราะญาติๆของเขาล้วนเป็นแก๊งสเตอร์ตัวเอ้กันทั้งบ้า น โจชัวต้องเอาตัวรอดและไต่เต้าขึ้นสู่จุดสูงสุดของห่ว งโซ่อาหารใน อาณาจักรสรรพสัตว์ แห่งนี้ให้ได้ ไม่เช่นก็ต้องตายไปในฐานะเหยื่อของบรรดาสิงสาราสัตว์ ซึ่งในที่นี้หมายถึงญาติๆของโจชัวที่มองว่าเขาเป็นส่ วนเกินของบ้าน หรือตำรวจที่หมายตาโจชัวในฐานะพยานปากสำคัญที่สามารถ ใช้เอาผิดญาติๆของเขาได้ จากเด็กหนุ่มที่เป็นเพียงคนวงนอกคนหนึ่งที่ไม่ได้มีส ่วนรู้เห็นอะไรกับ ธุรกิจครอบครัว แต่สุดท้ายแล้วก็ต้องยอมเอามือเปื้อนเลือดเพื่อเป็นส ่วนหนึ่งของครอบครัวและความอยู่รอดของตัวเอง
