ช่วงหลังๆเพราะเจอด่ากันไปเยอะ บริษัทเกมก็พยายามลด DLC ให้น้อยลงและขาย DLC ที่ดูแล้วคุ้มค่ามากขึ้น แต่ก็ยังมีอยู่เกมหนึ่ง ที่ขาย DLC แบบน่าเกลียด เพราะเมื่อนับราคาของ DLC ทั้งหมดแล้ว รวมมูลค่าถึง US$3061.91หรือประมาณ 110,000 บาท นี่ขนาดกำลังลดราคาอยู่นะ เกมที่ว่านั่นก็คือ Train Simulator 2016 เกมจำลองการขับรถไฟใน Steam
สาเหตุที่เกม Train Simulator 2016 นี้มี DLC เยอะนั้นก็เพราะว่าเขาใช้วิธีขาย DLC ตัวรถไฟพิเศษต่างๆจากทั่วโลก โดยในเกมหลักจริงๆจะมีรถไฟรุ่นต่างๆให้ใช้พอสมควร แต่ก็ยังไม่ครบทุกรุ่น ดังนั้นถ้าอยากจะมีรถไฟให้เล่นหลายๆรุ่นก็ต้องซื้อ DLC เอา ขบวนละ US$19.99 ตอนนี้ลด 40% เหลือขบวนละ US$11.99 ซึ่งรวมทั้งหมดแล้วก็แพงเกินแสนอยู่ดี นี่ถ้าไม่ลดราคาคงเกือบ 2 แสน
